The long strand is useful when you want connected lighting across a broader area rather than several separate short accents. Its bendable copper wire lets you guide the lights along a shelf or mantel, weave them around a plant, or shape them around a window. The warm white LEDs suit holiday decorating as well as birthdays, anniversaries, and other gatherings.

How to use it

Plug in the strand and use the button at the end of the plug to switch between its eight modes: combination, in waves, sequential, slo glo, chasing/flash, slow fade, twinkle/flash, and steady on. This range lets you choose between a consistent look and more animated lighting for a party or holiday display. The button also controls the timer, the indicator light shows when the timer function is on. A memory function retains the setting from the previous night, so the lights can resume with your chosen mode.

For a simple room setup, drape the strand along a curtain edge or around a window, then select steady-on for a consistent warm glow. For a seasonal display, shape the wire around greenery or a mantel and choose one of the twinkling modes. The flexible copper wire helps the strand follow the contours of the display.

What’s included

The included component is the string light strand. Buyers often appreciate its length and say it is easy to handle and arrange. Feedback on brightness and reliability is mixed: some describe a soft, appealing glow, while others expected stronger light or report inconsistent longevity. Consider it decorative accent lighting for creating atmosphere, rather than a substitute for task lighting.
