Brightever CMPC-O15XA Outdoor LED String Lights, 50-Foot, Remote Dimming

At 50 feet, the Brightever CMPC-O15XA string lights are designed to span outdoor areas such as a patio, gazebo, deck, or yard. Their warm white ST38 Edison-style LED bulbs and black cord suit a retro decorative look, while the remote adds control over brightness, lighting modes, and a shutoff timer.

The listed color temperature is 2700K. This is an ambient-lighting setup for shaping the feel of a gathering or everyday outdoor space, rather than a product with a documented lumen rating for comparing task-light output.

Quick overview

The practical appeal here is adjustability. The remote offers preset brightness levels of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, plus stepless adjustment with the plus and minus buttons. Three modes—steady lighting, flash, and breathing—give you a choice between a consistent glow and more noticeable effects. A 3-hour or 5-hour timer can switch the lights off automatically.

For a dinner on the patio, the lower settings and steady mode can create a softer backdrop, a brighter setting may suit a livelier gathering. Compared with basic string lights that provide fewer listed controls, this set gives you more ways to change the atmosphere without adjusting each bulb. The product information does not specify lumen output, so shoppers who need a measured level of functional illumination should compare that figure before choosing.

It’s a great fit if you want decorative outdoor lighting with remote dimming and several modes, rather than a fixed-output strand. The bulbs are described as shatterproof, and the lights are listed as waterproof for outdoor use. Those details are useful for placement planning, but they do not replace checking the instructions for the intended installation conditions.

Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the remote accessible if you expect to change brightness or switch modes during an evening. Its timer settings are 3 hours and 5 hours, so pick the one that best matches how long you expect to use the lights. Two AAA batteries are included for the remote.

If a bulb does not light, the manufacturer’s tip is to check whether it is tightened. The bulbs use an E12 base, and the listed light color is warm white. The set is powered by AC and specified at 24 volts, plan the layout around an appropriate power connection rather than assuming the strand runs on batteries. The batteries are for the remote, not the string lights.

How to use it

Choose a route across the patio, deck, gazebo, or another suitable indoor or outdoor setting, then position the strand to create the coverage and atmosphere you want. The 50-foot length gives you room to span a larger area than a short accent strand, though the right layout depends on the space and available power location. The included components are the ST38 string lights, one remote, and a user manual.

Use the remote to select steady, flash, or breathing mode and adjust the brightness. The timer can help set an automatic shutoff for an evening gathering or a regular outdoor routine. For a low-key meal, steady light at a reduced setting may feel more appropriate, for a celebration, the flashing or breathing mode offers a more animated effect. The details also list porch, garden, café, bistro, wedding, party, birthday, and holiday settings, so the style can work beyond a single occasion.

Final verdict

The Brightever CMPC-O15XA is worth considering when the priority is warm, decorative lighting with flexible controls: a 50-foot strand, remote dimming, three modes, and two timer choices. Its retro ST38 appearance also makes it a fit for buyers who want visible Edison-style bulbs rather than an unobtrusive lighting strip.

It’s not for you if you need a stated lumen output to plan task lighting, that specification is not provided here. For ambient patio or event lighting, though, the remote controls and timer give this strand a more configurable role than a simple fixed-mode set. The product listing also states a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
