Banral Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight 2 🔦

This compact tactical flashlight delivers intense illumination in a pocket-sized body, making it practical for everyday carry, camping, and emergency use. With a claimed maximum beam reach of up to 500 meters according to the manufacturer, the Banral mini USB-C LED model offers a potent combination of brightness and portability for close-up tasks and long-range spotting.

Key Points

This small flashlight measures about 4.84 inches (123 mm) long and weighs approximately 4.39 ounces (124 g), so it fits comfortably in a pocket or pack. The included pocket clip helps secure it to clothing or gear for quick access. It supports USB-C fast charging and reaches a full charge in roughly 2.5 hours when connected to a standard USB port. The lamp offers four output modes — High, Medium, Low, and Strobe — with a memory function that returns to the previously used mode after restart.

Technical Specifications

• Name: Banral K518 rechargeable tactical flashlight
• Length: 123 mm
• Weight: 124 g
• Beam throw: up to 500 meters, according to the manufacturer
• Charging: USB-C, full charge in about 2.5 hours
• Runtime: up to 12 hours on low mode, according to the manufacturer

Usage Recommendations

Use high mode when you need maximum reach for locating objects or scanning trails, and switch to low mode for extended runtime during close tasks like reading or repairs. The head is push-pull adjustable for zooming the beam from flood to spot, which helps adapt the light for different environments. The strobe setting is available for signalling or emergency situations, and the memory function avoids repeated mode cycling during frequent power cycles.

Positive Aspects

The housing is made from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, which contributes to impact resistance, wear resistance, and a durable feel during outdoor use. The flashlight is water-resistant which helps in damp or rainy conditions, and its compact design makes it unobtrusive for daily carry. Consider that very small lights can be harder to operate with gloved hands, and ultra-bright modes reduce runtime compared to low-output settings.
