Getting the most from it

The Retreat brings several everyday care functions into one setup: a place for your baby to rest, a play area, and a changing surface. The full-size bassinet is removable and has a canopy and carry handle, while the changing table and parent organizer keep diapering supplies within reach. Two toys provide something for your baby to look at during bassinet or playard time.

For home use, the wheels let you move the center between rooms, with brakes to secure it in place. The one-hand locking mechanism is designed to keep the playard stable once set up. When you need to pack it away or take it along, the playard folds and stores in the included tote bag. This combination suits families who want several care functions together rather than separate pieces of nursery furniture.

Everyday use

The electronic music center adds volume-controlled music, nature sounds, a nightlight, and vibration for rest or play routines. Mesh sides provide visibility and ventilation, and the plush fabric lining adds a soft touch to the playard. The removable bassinet and changing table make it possible to configure the center around the task at hand, whether that is settling a newborn or changing a diaper.

Buyers often highlight the changing table, the range of functions, and the ease of assembly. Feedback on setup and durability is mixed: some report difficulty getting the sides to lock, while others mention broken metal pieces. Follow the product’s setup instructions and confirm the playard is locked into position before use.

Questions before you buy

Can the bassinet be removed? Yes. The Rock-A-Bye bassinet is removable and features a canopy and carry handle, so it can be taken off the playard.

How can I move or store the playard? Large wheels with brakes make it movable around the home. The playard folds for storage or travel and comes with a tote bag.
