AUROTH US301-Black-L Tactical Dog Harness for Large Dogs, Adjustable and Reflective

For large dogs in the 45–80 lb range, the AUROTH US301-Black-L pairs an adjustable vest fit with two leash attachment points for walks and outdoor activities.

The front clip is intended for training and pulling control, while the back clip suits casual walks or jogging. Choose the attachment point that fits the activity.

If your priority is a straightforward walking harness, the two leash points give you distinct options, if you also want space to carry small gear, the MOLLE panels add that flexibility. The black vest includes a “BEST FRIEND” ID badge.

Key points

Two quick-release buckles make the harness easier to put on and remove, and four adjustment points help shape the fit around your dog. Measure the neck and chest before choosing a size: this Large size is listed for an 18–29-inch neck and a 24–37-inch chest. A well-adjusted fit helps the vest sit securely while allowing movement.

The body combines breathable air mesh with a soft padded cotton cushion, while metal rings provide the leash attachment points. Reflective details support visibility during walks in low light. The vest also has MOLLE strips on both sides for compatible pouches or other gear, such as a dog bowl, water bottle, or toys, these accessories are not included. Buyers commonly praise the comfort, fit, and ease of putting it on and taking it off. Feedback on durability is mixed: some describe long-lasting use, while others report early issues with the plastic buckle.

Cleaning & care

The harness is machine washable, making routine care simple after walks and outdoor outings. Follow the adjustment sequence when fitting the straps: pass a strap through its buckle, squeeze it into an arch, then straighten it from the other end. Repeat as needed to achieve a secure fit, and check that the harness remains comfortable for your dog before heading out.

Practical tips

For a training walk, attach the leash at the front point, for a casual walk or jog, use the back point. Adjust the harness before clipping on the leash, using the neck and chest measurements to guide size selection. The padded contact areas and air-mesh body are designed for wearing comfort, while the handle offers another way to guide your dog when closer control is useful.

For walks that call for only a leash connection, the vest works as a harness with front and back clip choices. For outings where carrying small items matters, its side MOLLE panels offer a more gear-ready setup. Use compatible pouches to organize the items you want your dog to carry.

When it makes sense

This harness suits large-dog owners looking for adjustable fit, two leash positions, reflective details, and a handle in one vest-style design. It is particularly useful when walks include training as well as casual activity, or when MOLLE-compatible gear is part of an outdoor routine. Measure your dog’s neck and chest against the Large size range, then adjust the straps so the vest sits securely and comfortably.
