Atlantic 2 ft Female-to-Female Heavy-Duty Garden Hose, 5/8-Inch Green
Product description
Connect an outdoor faucet to a hose reel with a compact leader hose that keeps the connection close to the water source. The Atlantic hose is 2 feet long and has female connectors at both ends. Its flexible construction makes it practical for short connections around a garden or yard.
Where it shines
Use this short hose to link a faucet and hose reel, join compatible hose sections, or make another short connection in a watering setup. At 2 feet long, it provides a neat link where a full-length garden hose would add unnecessary length. The female-to-female design is intended for connecting to corresponding fittings, while the solid brass connectors provide a sturdy connection point at each end.
It also works as a short extension in an irrigation or general watering setup. For example, position the reel near an outdoor faucet and use the leader hose to connect the two, leaving the main hose available for watering. If the task calls for a new long run of hose, a full-length hose is the more direct choice, this compact format is for bridging a short gap or making a connection between existing components.
Key features
The green hose measures 2 feet by 5/8 inch and is made with natural rubber. Its three-layer construction is designed for heavy-duty use, and the flexible hose can be maneuvered around a garden without kinking or tangling according to its product features. That flexibility is useful when routing a short connection beside a faucet, reel, or other watering equipment.
Solid brass connectors are fitted at both ends, and the female-to-female layout supports connections to compatible faucet, hose, or attachment fittings. The maximum pressure is listed as 350 psi, with a nominal wall thickness of 1.3 mm. Together, the short length and end fittings make this a purpose-built connector rather than a substitute for a full-length hose.
Buyer feedback commonly highlights the handy length, flexible feel, and solid fittings, including use as a short extension or with a hose caddy. Some buyers also praise its construction and connections, while durability experiences differ. These comments offer useful context for shoppers choosing a small leader hose, but they do not replace the product’s stated specifications.
How to use it
Connect each female end to a compatible fitting on the faucet, hose reel, hose, or watering attachment. Seat the fittings securely before turning on the water, then route the hose so it can reach between the two connection points without being pulled taut. Its short format is especially useful when the faucet and reel are close together, helping keep the connection contained instead of laying out another long hose.
The 0.27 kg hose has a green finish and measures 24 inches in length. Its compact size suits setups where a dedicated leader hose is more convenient than repositioning a longer hose or replacing an entire reel arrangement. Match the two female ends to the fittings in your setup to use the hose as intended.
Buying verdict
Choose the Atlantic leader hose when your watering setup needs a short, flexible link with female connectors at both ends. The 2-foot length, natural rubber construction, and solid brass fittings make it suited to connecting a faucet and hose reel or extending a compatible garden hose over a small gap. It is a focused solution for tidy, close-range connections rather than a long-distance watering run.
