AstroAI GL-2204 Compact Extendable Snow Shovel with Aluminum Shaft, Blue

Keep the AstroAI GL-2204 in your car for clearing snow around a parked vehicle or making a path through fresh snowfall. Its compact design packs down for storage, while the telescoping aluminum shaft lets you adjust the handle length for the task. The ergonomic EVA grip provides an anti-slip hold as you shovel.

What stands out

The detachable shovel and handle connect with a buckle design, so you can assemble the tool when needed and break it down again for storage. At 1.88 pounds, it’s designed to be portable for use at home or outdoors. Its detached dimensions are 17.5 x 10.35 x 3.6 inches, making it a practical choice for a trunk, under a car seat, or a garage storage spot.

The telescoping aluminum shaft adjusts to a preferred length, which can help you choose a more comfortable position while clearing snow. The EVA grip has an ergonomic shape and an anti-slip surface, giving you a secure place to hold as you work. The compact format is a different approach from keeping a full-size shovel by the door: it prioritizes portability and stowability for a car or other limited storage space.

Worth noting

The shovel’s maximum weight capacity is 33 pounds. Snow can be heavy, particularly when wet, so keep the load within that limit as you clear it. The adjustable shaft is intended to accommodate adults and children, making it possible to set a working length for different users. Use the buckle connection to assemble the parts before shoveling, then detach them when you’re ready to put the shovel away.

Best use cases

This compact snow shovel is suited to clearing a vehicle, steps, a driveway, sidewalks, or a backyard, as well as keeping on hand for camping and winter emergencies. In a car, its detached size makes it easier to store than a full-length shovel and gives you a tool to use when snow needs to be moved around the vehicle. At home, the adjustable shaft and handheld format are useful for clearing smaller areas such as steps or a walkway. It also makes sense for outdoor trips where a portable snow-clearing tool is useful and storage space matters.

Before you decide

How does the shovel pack down for storage? The shovel and handle detach using a buckle connection. Its compact detached dimensions are 17.5 x 10.35 x 3.6 inches, and its weight is 1.88 pounds, so it can be stored in a vehicle or garage.

Can the handle length be adjusted? Yes. The aluminum shaft telescopes, allowing you to adjust its length for the user and the task. The EVA grip has an ergonomic, anti-slip design for a more secure hold while shoveling.

What is the maximum weight capacity? The maximum weight capacity is 33 pounds. Keep the amount of snow on the shovel within that limit, especially when working with wet snow.
