AREYTECO Travel Backpack 17-Inch

A bulky laptop and loose travel essentials can make a commute feel more awkward than it needs to be. The AREYTECO Travel Backpack combines a main compartment for a laptop up to 17.3 inches with smaller pockets for everyday items.

Its back luggage strap also lets you slide it over a rolling suitcase handle, which can make airport transfers easier.

The listed dimensions are 20 x 14 x 9.8 inches, so this is a roomy carry-on-style backpack rather than a compact day bag.

Highlights

The main compartment is designed to hold a 17.3-inch notebook, along with binders, folders, clothes, or college supplies. A front compartment has pockets for items such as a cell phone and keys, giving smaller essentials a place apart from the larger load. That layout may be more useful than a single open compartment if you regularly switch between work, school, and travel items.

For carrying, the backpack has adjustable fabric shoulder straps and a thickened sponge handle and shoulder straps, according to the product details. A hidden pocket on the back offers a less visible place for belongings, though it is not a substitute for keeping valuables secure in crowded settings. The listed waterproof cloth may help protect contents, but no water-resistance rating or seam details are provided.

How to use it

Pack the laptop and bulkier items in the main compartment, then use the front pockets for things you may need to reach quickly. For a trip through an airport, the rear luggage strap can sit over a suitcase handle, leaving your hands freer while you move between gates. The product is described as airline approved, but the stated size is still worth comparing with your carrier's current carry-on rules, acceptance can depend on the airline and the allowance attached to your ticket.

The 17.3-inch figure describes the laptop it is intended to fit, not every laptop with that screen size. If your device is close to the stated limit, check its actual dimensions against the compartment before buying, without that measurement, a precise fit is hard to confirm.

Practical tips

It suits you if you want one bag for a larger laptop, work or school materials, and occasional travel, especially when you like the option of attaching it to rolling luggage. If you mostly carry a tablet and a few small items, a slimmer, smaller bag may be easier to manage. Not the best choice if your priority is a minimal personal item: at 20 x 14 x 9.8 inches, this backpack takes up more space than a compact commuter pack.

The listing also says the bag is not intended for people 12 and under. There is no stated weight, material composition beyond waterproof cloth, or detailed pocket count, so those details are worth considering if you need a precise packing plan or a specific fabric.

Practical doubts

Will it fit a 17.3-inch laptop? The main compartment is listed as suitable for a 17.3-inch notebook. Laptop dimensions can differ, so compare your device measurements if the fit is tight.

Can it attach to a suitcase? Yes. A strap on the back is intended to slide over a rolling suitcase handle.

Is it suitable for rain? The listing calls the fabric waterproof, but gives no rating or testing details. Treat that claim as limited protection rather than a guarantee for prolonged or heavy rain.

Buying verdict

Choose this AREYTECO backpack if the large laptop capacity, multiple compartments, and suitcase strap match how you travel or commute. Its size and laptop-focused layout are the trade-offs: shoppers wanting a small everyday bag, or needing confirmed airline dimensions and measured laptop-compartment clearance, should look for those details before deciding.
