Amico A18GL011004017 6-Inch 4-Pack 5CCT Slim LED Recessed Lights

For rooms where lighting color and brightness need to be adjustable, this Amico set combines selectable color temperature with dimming. The four slim recessed lights are designed for ceiling installation without traditional cans. They suit indoor spaces such as kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and home offices. Their damp-location rating supports humid areas, but not direct water spray.

The color-temperature switch is on the junction box, so the setting is chosen during installation rather than changed from the room. The slim design is specified to need as little as 2 inches of ceiling space. For a remodel, the cutout guidance is especially useful: measure the ceiling opening before buying or cutting, since the product calls for a larger opening than some existing recessed fixtures may use.

Everyday use

The five CCT settings cover a range from warm white to daylight, making it possible to select a tone suited to a kitchen, bathroom, or work area. Dimming adds another adjustment for changing the room’s brightness. For example, the lights can be set to a warmer tone and dimmed for a living room, or adjusted toward daylight for a home office. The set is intended for indoor use and is damp rated, so it can suit humid locations such as bathrooms, it is not described as waterproof and should not be placed where water sprays directly onto it.

Buyer feedback commonly praises brightness, appearance, and straightforward installation, while some purchasers report mixed results with fit and hole sizing. That makes the published cutout measurement worth treating as a practical planning detail, not assuming the lights will match an existing opening. Buyers also mention dimmer compatibility, but the supplied product details do not identify particular dimmer models, so compatibility should not be taken as universal.

Included in the package

The package contains four lights and junction boxes. That gives you a matching set for a small multi-light area or for replacing several ceiling fixtures in one project. The listing does not specify additional installation hardware, so the included components should not be assumed to cover every need for a particular ceiling or wiring setup.

Buying verdict

It makes sense if you want canless recessed lighting with several selectable white tones, dimming, and a damp-location rating in one four-light set. Its slim profile and stated low ceiling-space requirement may also be useful in a remodel where conventional recessed housings are not practical. It’s not for you if the fixture will face direct water spray, or if you need a light specifically confirmed to fit an existing cutout without measuring. Use the stated 6.2–6.5-inch cutout range to plan the installation, for other needs, a fixture with a confirmed fit or a rating suited to direct water exposure is a better match.
