addlon 100FT LED Outdoor String Lights, Remote, 2700K Warm White

For a patio, pergola, or backyard gathering area, these addlon string lights provide warm-white overhead lighting across a 100-foot setup. The package is described as two 50-foot strands, with 30 sockets and 32 shatterproof LED bulbs, including two spares. A remote and timer are listed, and the strands are linkable. A dimmer switch is not included, though the lights are described as dimmer-compatible.

Size & fit

The 100-foot total length is intended for larger outdoor areas or for running lights along a broad patio or pergola. Since the package is listed as two 50-foot sections, the layout can be planned around those separate strands rather than treating it as one fixed-length piece. The linkable design offers another way to extend a setup, although the product details do not specify a maximum number of connected strands.

The sockets hold 32 shatterproof LED bulbs, with 30 sockets and two spare bulbs included. The bulbs give off 2700K warm white light, a useful choice when the goal is a softer, decorative glow rather than a brighter task-lighting setup. You’ll appreciate it if you want string lighting to define an outdoor seating area, you may want to skip it if you need a dimmer switch included in the box or are shopping specifically for focused work lighting.

Pros

The combination of a long run, linkable strands, and remote control can make it easier to arrange lighting across a larger outdoor space. The timer is another useful feature for setting an on-and-off routine, while dimmer compatibility gives you the option to adjust the mood with a separately purchased dimmer switch. The bulbs are described as shatterproof, and the string has an IP65 waterproof rating for outdoor use in conditions such as rain, wind, and humidity.

Buyer feedback is favorable about the lights’ appearance and ease of installation, with some customers saying that connecting the strands helped with setup. Durability feedback is mixed: some buyers report that the lights held up outdoors, while others mention bulbs going out or reliability problems. That variation is worth keeping in mind if you expect to leave decorative lighting in place for extended periods.

Is it worth it?

These lights make sense for someone planning decorative coverage over a patio, pergola, or backyard and who values warm color, a remote, and a timer in the setup. Compared with basic non-linkable string lights, the listed linkable design offers more flexibility for arranging a longer run, compared with dedicated task or security lighting, the warm-white bulbs are aimed more at atmosphere than focused illumination. The manufacturer also claims lower energy use than traditional incandescent bulbs, but the listing does not provide enough detail to estimate savings for a particular setup. Consider the mixed reports about bulb life alongside the included spare bulbs when deciding whether this is the right fit for lighting that will stay outdoors.
