15.6-Inch Laptop

The full-size backlit keyboard, including a separate numeric keypad, is a practical standout for typing after dark or entering figures at a desk. This 15.6-inch Aurant laptop pairs an AMD Ryzen R5 processor with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, a setup aimed at everyday office work, browsing, and study rather than demanding workloads. Its 1.6 kg body and 180-degree lay-flat hinge add flexibility for carrying it between rooms or adjusting the screen angle on a shared table. One detail to sort out before buying: the product name specifies an FHD IPS display, while the description calls it a high-definition screen without confirming the resolution.

Technical details

The processor is described as a four-core, eight-thread AMD Ryzen R5 with a 2.00 GHz base frequency and up to 3.60 GHz boost frequency. The laptop has 8GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD, and Windows 11 Home. Those details point to routine tasks such as documents, web browsing, and multitasking across everyday apps, they do not establish how it handles intensive creative work or demanding games.

The 15.6-inch display is identified as FHD IPS in the product name, but the longer description only says “high definition.” That wording leaves the exact resolution unclear, so treat the panel specification as something to confirm if screen detail matters to your work. The listed physical features include a backlit full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad, a fingerprint unlock feature, and a large touchpad. It weighs 1.6 kg and has a hinge that opens flat to 180 degrees.

Getting the most from it

For a typical study session, you could keep a browser and a document open, use the number pad for spreadsheet entries, then connect an external display through HDMI at a desk. The listed connections also include two USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a MicroSD (TF) card slot, and a DC power port. The product name says the TF card slot supports up to 1TB, that is separate from the built-in 128GB SSD.

Wireless details include Bluetooth 4.2 and support for 5G Wi-Fi. From the way it is set up, this laptop is aimed at everyday connected use, with ports for common peripherals rather than a promise of specialized expansion. It makes sense if you want a portable Windows laptop with a numeric keypad and room for basic multitasking. You may want to skip it if you need confirmed display resolution or detailed evidence of performance for resource-heavy work.

Usage tips

Use the backlight when typing in a dim room, and make use of the separate number pad for repeated data entry. The lay-flat hinge can help when you need to adjust the screen position on a table, but the listing does not describe other hinge modes or touch-screen operation. For file storage, distinguish the internal SSD from the TF card option: the card slot may add storage, but it does not change the built-in drive capacity.

Before settling on this model, compare its stated memory and SSD capacity with laptops aimed at heavier workloads. This one emphasizes portability, everyday tasks, and familiar connections, the available information does not establish upgrade options or performance in specialized software.

Practical doubts

Does it have a backlit keyboard? Yes. The listing describes a backlit, full-size keyboard with a separate numeric keypad.

Can it connect to an external monitor? An HDMI port is listed, so it can connect to a display that supports the connection. The listing does not specify supported resolutions or refresh rates.

Is the screen definitely Full HD? The product name calls it FHD IPS, but the longer description only says high definition. Confirm the exact resolution if that is a deciding factor.

Final verdict

This Aurant is worth considering for everyday browsing, documents, study, and desk-based number entry, especially if a backlit keyboard and a 15.6-inch screen are priorities. Its 1.6 kg weight and listed ports make it a more portable, self-contained approach than choosing a basic desktop setup, but the 128GB SSD is a modest amount of built-in storage and the screen description is inconsistent. Choose it when its stated everyday spec fits your workload, look elsewhere if you need a clearly specified display or evidence that it suits demanding applications.
