2 Way Extension Lead 3500W power strip

This compact 2-way extension lead with a short 0.39 metre cable helps keep desks and worktops tidy while adding two UK AC outlets plus the plug itself. It is a practical choice for home, travel and office use where space is limited, offering a clear benefit for powering a laptop and a lamp at the same time without long trailing cables.

Key Points

The lead supplies two grounded sockets in a small footprint, which is useful for crowded power strips or behind furniture. Its short power cord reduces cable clutter and keeps connections close to the wall, making it easier to manage devices on a desk or a bedside table. For users needing to power kitchen gadgets or moderate power tools, the construction supports higher demands up to 3500W (250V/13A), according to the manufacturer. ⚡

A safety cover and earthing contact are included to limit accidental contact and improve user protection. The product is intended for indoor use only and carries an IP20 rating that indicates it should be kept in dry environments. 🌧️

Benefits

This small power strip is convenient for travel because it takes up very little space in a bag and removes the need to carry multiple adapters. It also reduces the risk of sockets being blocked by bulky plugs, since the two outlets are arranged to make the most of limited space. The short cable means less chance of tripping over trailing leads and makes it easier to position furniture close to the wall. 🔌

Consider that the compact design may not suit situations where multiple long-reach connections are required. According to the manufacturer, the cable type is suited to medium mechanical stress, so heavily demanding outdoor use or continuous heavy-duty tool operation is not recommended.

Usage Recommendations

Place the lead on or behind furniture to keep workspaces clear and to prevent cables catching underfoot. Use it for devices such as laptops, monitors, chargers, lamps and small kitchen appliances that match the rated current. For appliances with high continuous power draw check the device rating before connecting. Avoid exposing the unit to moisture and do not use it in outdoor or humid locations as the IP20 classification restricts it to dry indoor environments.
