Addtam 3M Extension Cable 3250W Surge Protector 🔌

This 3 metre extension lead from Addtam combines a six-way mains outlet block with five USB charging ports to keep multiple devices powered and organised on a desk or in a living room. It offers mixed power options for laptops, chargers and small appliances while keeping cable run neat thanks to the three-sided outlet layout and braided cord. The main benefit is consolidated charging and surge protection in a single, compact unit for home and office use.

Key Points

The unit provides six AC sockets with a total rated capacity up to 3250 W, plus five USB ports for charging phones, tablets and accessories. The USB array includes one USB‑C port with a maximum 3 A output and four USB‑A ports that share up to 5 A, each USB‑A capable of up to 2.4 A according to the manufacturer. The three-sided block reduces crowding between plugs and helps keep a workstation tidier. A 3 metre braided cable increases flexibility of placement and resists kinking during daily use. ⚡

Technical Specifications

• Name: Addtam 3M Extension Cable
• Cable length: 3 m
• Total AC power: 3250 W
• USB ports: 1 × USB‑C (max 3 A), 4 × USB‑A (each up to 2.4 A, shared 5 A)
• Protection: overload protection, surge protection, overcurrent protection

Benefits

The integrated USB ports remove the need for multiple wall chargers and free up mains sockets for larger devices. Because the USB‑C port supports up to 3 A it can charge many modern phones and tablets at higher speeds, although it does not provide the voltage required for some laptops such as MacBook models that need 14–22 V. The braided cable offers a more durable feel compared with PVC leads and is less prone to deformation or wear over time. The three-sided outlet block is designed to give each plug more physical space which can be useful when using bulkier adaptors.

Usage Recommendations

Place the extension lead where the three-sided layout best suits the arrangement of your devices, for example beside a desk or behind an entertainment unit. Ensure the total connected load does not exceed 3250 W to keep overload protection effective. The product includes child-safety shutters on the mains sockets which reduce the risk of accidental contact, and the housing is made from fire-resistant PC material rated to a high temperature according to the manufacturer. Consider that the USB‑C port will not charge certain laptops that require higher charging voltages, so use a dedicated laptop power supply for those models.

The design combines surge and overload protection with straightforward functionality, making it a practical solution when several devices must be powered in a single area. 🔌📱
