Why it makes sense
The design focuses on practicality rather than perfection. Silicone pads on the clamp reduce slipping and accept thick cases up to 0.78 inch, while a reinforced base with EVA pads protects surfaces and grips bedframes or desks firmly. Expect minor wobble if you plan to interact with the screen, this is an inherent trade off of a long, flexible arm.
Best use cases
Place it beside the bed for hands‑free reading at night, fix it to a desk for recipe display while cooking, or attach it to a headboard for video calls. It suits users who mostly want to view or follow content rather than to type or tap frequently. It’s a sensible, low‑complexity solution for everyday hands‑free needs.
