Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Antibacterial Replacement Filter for Prep Machines

When preparing bottles with a Perfect Prep machine, this Tommee Tippee replacement filter provides antibacterial filtration as water passes through the machine. It is designed for all Perfect Prep and Perfect Prep Pro machines, making it a straightforward choice when your machine signals that a fresh filter is needed.

The antibacterial membrane removes bacteria as well as impurities and contaminants. That gives the filter a specific role in bottle preparation, beyond the filtration offered by standard water filters.

Before first use, prime the filter in cold water for at least five minutes. This helps remove air bubbles and any loose particles so the filter is ready for use in the machine.

At a glance

This is a single replacement filter with an antibacterial filtration membrane. It is compatible with all Perfect Prep and Perfect Prep Pro machines, so you can choose it for the machine you already use rather than looking for a general-purpose water filter. Its filtration is designed to remove bacteria, impurities and contaminants from the water used during bottle preparation.

The Perfect Prep machine indicates when it is time to fit a fresh filter. On the original Perfect Prep, a warning light provides the reminder, Day & Night machines display a message on screen. These machine alerts make it easier to recognise when a replacement is due as part of your regular preparation routine.

Tips for day-to-day use

Prime the filter in cold water for at least five minutes before fitting it for the first time. This step helps clear trapped air and loose particles, supporting complete filtration from the start. After that, follow the replacement prompt shown by your machine: a warning light on the original Perfect Prep or an on-screen message on Day & Night models.

For bottle preparation, the antibacterial filter is intended to make pre-boiled water unnecessary when using the machine. Water passes through the filtration membrane, which removes bacteria as well as impurities and contaminants. This is the key distinction from a standard water filter, which does not include an antibacterial filtration membrane.

Best use cases

Choose this filter when the replacement reminder appears on a compatible Perfect Prep machine and you want to continue using its bottle-preparation routine. It is also a practical fit for households that specifically want antibacterial filtration in their Perfect Prep system, rather than a standard filter that only addresses impurities.

For example, when preparing a feed as part of the usual home routine, the machine’s indicator shows when the filter needs changing, while the antibacterial membrane treats the water as it passes through. Compatibility with both Perfect Prep and Perfect Prep Pro machines makes this replacement relevant across the range.
