GOLDEN ICEPURE Refrigerator Water Filter 2-pack

Key features

This 2-piece GOLDEN ICEPURE refrigerator water filter replaces common Samsung and LG inline models, improving water taste and reducing chlorine. It uses multi-layer filtration with activated carbon and resins to cut chlorine, lime and small particles, resulting in softer water that helps protect internal components of fridges and coffee machines. For first use, soak the filter in clean tap water for 5–10 minutes to remove air bubbles.

• Type: Inline refrigerator water filter
• Material: Food-safe, resin-free, sodium-free

Benefits

The filter reduces chlorine taste and hardness, which can improve brewed drinks and make ice clearer. Softer water also helps minimise limescale buildup inside appliances, potentially extending their working life. Tests by recognised institutes such as IAPMO are cited by the manufacturer to confirm compliance with applicable standards. Bear in mind that actual life span varies with local water quality.

How to use it

Install the filter in place of the original compatible cartridge following your appliance instructions, then run and discard a litre or two of water before regular use. Soak for 5–10 minutes before first installation to flush air from the cartridge. Replace roughly every six months or sooner if flow reduces. It makes sense if you want a budget-friendly replacement that focuses on taste improvement and basic sediment reduction.

What’s included

The pack contains two GOLDEN ICEPURE replacement filters ready to fit listed Samsung, LG and Haier compatible models. The manufacturer recommends following appliance guidance for installation and disposal.
