The SmallRig 5609 base plate kit brings a compact rod system and dual 15mm LWS clamp for run-and-gun camera rigs and cages. It helps you move fast between tripod, shoulder and handheld setups while keeping compatibility with popular mirrorless bodies and their cages.

Highlights

This lightweight plate fits cameras such as Sony A6500, A6600, A6300, A7SIII, Canon R5 and R6 and similar cages. The kit includes two 15mm carbon fibre rods of 20cm length that add support for follow focus units and matte boxes, offering a sturdy yet portable platform. It is contoured for shoulder use and has rubber padding on top to reduce twisting and surface marks. Note that the carbon fibre rods do not have female threads.
