Product description
This SMALLRIG top handle with monitor mount kit combines a sturdy top handle and an adjustable monitor holder for run-and-gun and rigged camera setups. It helps stabilise low-angle shots and keeps accessories organised when you need to add a monitor, microphone or light. The kit includes the 3765 top handle and the 2905B monitor mount, and the monitor holder is suitable for 5" and 7" displays.
Highlights
The top handle offers multiple mounting options without feeling fussy. There are three cold shoes at the front and two at the rear, so you can fit a mic, small LED or monitor simultaneously. An array of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes gives flexibility for arms and brackets. The monitor mount provides 180° tilt and 360° swivel, with a thumbscrew for quick tilt tension adjustment and an allen wrench for swivel tension and final tightening. Built-in locating pins and a silicone pad reduce twisting and protect the monitor from scratches. Note that tilt angle affects load capacity, with 90° rated under 4.2kg and lower capacities at shallower angles, according to the manufacturer.

Usage tips
It’s a good fit if you often shoot low-angle or handheld work and need a compact way to carry a monitor and a mic together. Tighten the 1/4" knurled screw with the allen wrench after adjusting to ensure security, and be aware of the reduced load capacity at steeper tilt angles. For lighter monitors you can use more extreme tilt positions, for heavier displays keep the mount closer to vertical.
Care & maintenance
Wipe metal parts with a soft cloth after use to remove grit and salt, and store the thumbscrew and allen wrench together to avoid misplacing them. Check tension settings before each shoot, and re-tighten threaded screws to maintain a secure fit.
