X-Sense XS0E-iR smart smoke alarm 10-year pack
Product description
This compact X-Sense smoke alarm combines smart connectivity with a long service life to keep homes monitored day and night. With Wi-Fi linking and app control, the XS0E-iR model lets household members receive instant notifications and take remote action, while a replaceable battery and a 10-year product life offer practical peace of mind.
Key Points
The X-Sense XS0E-iR connects directly to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and pairs with the mobile app so alerts, faults and low-battery notices are sent to shared users in real time. Night mode can be enabled from the app to stop the standby green LED from flashing and reduce disturbance while you sleep. Compact at 110 x 110 x 30 mm, the unit houses an 85 dB alarm that delivers a clear audible warning across a typical room.

Usage Recommendations
Install the alarm on a ceiling or high on a wall following local safety guidance, placing units near sleeping areas to ensure the 85 dB alert is heard during the night. Use the app to add household members so alerts and history are shared with family or flatmates, and to silence nuisance alarms remotely if needed. Keep the device connected to a stable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for reliable notifications; note that this model does not support wireless interconnection with the SBS50 base station.
Positive Aspects
App control simplifies management by allowing remote silencing and access to event history, which can be particularly useful for busy households. The replaceable battery combined with a manufacturer-stated 10-year product life reduces the need for frequent replacements, while the slim profile helps the unit blend into most interiors. Consider that advanced multi-unit interconnection is not available with this model, so wired or alternative wireless networks may be required for whole-house alarm linking.
