Tech summary

This is a complete dry cat food made with 74% chicken. Its high-protein, gluten-free recipe includes probiotics to support gentle digestion and joint-care supplements intended to promote mobility and comfort. The hypoallergenic formulation is also designed to support a healthy, glossy coat and urinary tract.

Scrumbles says the recipe uses natural, responsibly sourced ingredients and human-grade meat, with no derivatives, preservatives or fillers. It is made in the UK and Ireland by an independent family company and packed in recyclable packaging. The 2.5kg bag gives you a defined format for storing and serving dry food as part of your cat’s routine.

What it works with

The food is intended for cats across all life stages, and the recipe is specifically described as suitable for adult and senior cats. Its chicken content makes it a meat-led choice, while the probiotics add a digestive-support element for cats with sensitive stomachs. Joint-care supplements give the formula another practical focus, particularly for owners looking for everyday food that also addresses mobility and comfort.

When choosing between a general dry food and a recipe centred on sensitive digestion, this one brings together gluten-free ingredients, probiotics and joint-care supplements in a single complete food. That makes it relevant for owners who want these features built into their cat’s regular meals, rather than selecting a recipe solely by flavour or format.

How to use it

Serve as your cat’s dry food, following the feeding guidance on the packaging and providing fresh water. For a cat moving from another food, introduce the new recipe gradually as part of the changeover. This gives you a straightforward way to make the chicken-based formula part of a regular feeding routine, whether you are choosing food for an adult cat or a senior companion.

The dry format is practical for daily serving, while the 2.5kg bag is a useful size to consider when choosing how much food to keep on hand. Its combination of chicken, probiotics and joint-care supplements can suit households looking for a complete recipe with more specific digestive and mobility support than a food selected simply as a basic dry staple.

Final verdict

Scrumbles brings a clearly defined set of features to everyday cat feeding: 74% chicken, a gluten-free and hypoallergenic recipe, added probiotics and joint-care supplements. For owners seeking complete dry food for adult or senior cats, particularly those with sensitive stomachs, it offers a chicken-led option with digestive and mobility support at the heart of the formula.
