Product specs

• Product: Protexin Pro-Fibre for dogs
• Format: Pellets
• Pack size: 500g
• Digestive support: High-fibre formula with prebiotics, postbiotics and Enterococcus faecium
• Flavour: Meat-free beef flavour

The combination is designed to support a balanced gut microbiome and normal digestion. Dietary fibre also helps bulk and firm stools, which can contribute to more comfortable digestion and support natural anal gland emptying. The formula therefore addresses several connected aspects of digestive wellbeing rather than focusing on fibre alone. Pro-Fibre is also presented as supporting immune health.

Who it’s for

Pro-Fibre is intended for dogs whose owners want to add digestive and fibre support to their regular feeding routine. It may suit a different need from changing a dog’s main food: the pellets can be added to, or crumbled over, the food the dog already eats. That makes it a straightforward option when the aim is to support stool consistency and gut balance while keeping mealtimes familiar.

The prebiotic component helps support beneficial gut bacteria, while Enterococcus faecium is included as a probiotic to help maintain them. Together with postbiotics and dietary fibre, these ingredients make the supplement relevant to owners looking to support normal digestion, healthy stools and natural anal gland function. Its meat-free beef flavour is designed to make serving easier, and the product is described as suitable for pets with meat allergies or sensitivities.

Tips for day-to-day use

Add the pellets to your dog’s usual food, or crumble them over the meal if that is easier for your feeding routine. Mixing them into food gives you a simple way to offer the supplement as part of an everyday meal, without needing to serve it separately. Keep the product’s role clear: it is a dietary supplement for digestive support, used alongside normal food.

For example, if you are looking to support stool consistency as well as gut balance, the fibre and microbiome-supporting ingredients work together within one supplement. If your priority is simply to change the flavour or composition of your dog’s main diet, a food change is a different approach, Pro-Fibre is designed to be added to the existing meal instead.

Is it worth it?

Protexin Pro-Fibre brings several digestive-support ingredients together in a 500g pellet format that can be added to or crumbled over normal dog food.
