Lepro E27 LED Bulb 8.5W, 806lm, 2700K Warm White – 6 Pack by Lighting EVER

What it is

The Lepro E27 Screw Bulb from Lighting EVER is an LED replacement designed to mimic the look and feel of a traditional 60W incandescent bulb while using far less energy. Sold as a 6-pack, each bulb is rated at 8.5W with a warm 2700K colour temperature and a comfortable 806 lumens output.

Energy efficiency and longevity

On paper, these bulbs replace a 60W incandescent bulb with a claimed energy saving of over 86%. They also promise a long lifespan of up to 15,000 hours, which can translate into fewer replacements and reduced running costs over time. The instant-on, flicker-free operation helps avoid the lag and buzzing some alternatives exhibit.

Brightness and ambience

With a 180° beam angle, the Lepro LED aims to spread a broad field of warm white light, suitable for creating a cosy and relaxed atmosphere in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms. The high Colour Rendering Index (CRI > 80) suggests colours should appear fairly natural under this lighting, which can be important for everyday tasks and mood.

Fit, installation and compatibility

These bulbs use an E27 screw fitting, making them compatible with a wide range of lamps and fixtures that accept standard Edison screw bulbs. They’re designed for easy retrofitting in places like ceiling lights, pendants, chandeliers and table or floor lamps.

Who it’s for

If you’re looking to reduce electricity usage without sacrificing warmth and a familiar light pattern, this six-pack can be a practical choice for homes with multiple light sources or for rooms that see frequent use. They’re well suited to spaces where you want a steady, welcoming glow rather than clinical illumination.

What to consider before buying

• The 2700K warm white is a classic cosy tone, if you prefer cooler daylight figures for work zones, you might want to look for a higher colour temperature.
• Real-world lifespan can vary with dimming, switching frequency and electrical quality in your fittings. If your fixtures experience frequent on/off cycles, the stated hours may differ.
• While the brightness is adequate for general ambience, very large rooms or work zones may require additional lighting or higher-lumen options.

Practical usage ideas

A practical example is pairing these bulbs with a ceiling pendant in a living room to achieve a relaxed evening atmosphere, or using them in hallways where you want a steady, pleasant glow without glare. In spaces where instant full brightness is important, the instant-on feature is helpful.

FAQ

• How bright is 806 lumens in real use? It provides a warm, ambient glow suitable for living spaces and corridors rather than task-intensive areas.
• Are these dimmable? The information provided doesn’t specify dimming compatibility, if you need dimming, check the fixture and product compatibility notes.
• Will they last long in busy households? Up to 15,000 hours is the manufacturer's claim, but factors like switching frequency and voltage quality can affect actual lifespan.

Final verdict

Is it worth it? Worth considering if you prioritise energy savings, a warm ambience and easy retrofitting across multiple fixtures. It may not be the best choice if you need very high brightness for task lighting or custom colour temperatures.

Should you buy it?

This six-pack is a sensible option for users updating several lamps to more efficient lighting, provided you’re happy with a 2700K warm tone and standard brightness. If your priorities are higher brightness or cooler light, you may want to explore alternatives with a different colour temperature or lumen output.
