HP 15-fd1002sax 15.6-inch Laptop, Intel Core 7, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD

If your day moves between documents, video calls and entertainment, a laptop with a generous screen and practical everyday features can make each task easier. The HP 15-fd1002sax combines an Intel Core 7 150U processor with 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, giving you a straightforward setup for work, browsing and streaming.

Its anti-glare display helps reduce reflections, while the privacy camera shutter gives you a simple way to cover the camera between calls.

Getting the most from it

Use the 15.6-inch display to keep documents, browser tabs and video content comfortably visible during everyday tasks. The micro-edge design gives the screen an 85% screen-to-body ratio, making more of the front of the laptop available for viewing. Its anti-glare, low-gloss panel is designed to reduce reflections, which is useful when working near windows or using the laptop outdoors.

For calls, the HP True Vision camera is paired with a privacy door, dual microphones and advanced noise reduction. Close the door when the camera is not in use, then open it for a video meeting. Dual stereo speakers also make it easy to listen to music, films or games without relying on headphones.

Why it makes sense

This configuration brings together everyday processing, memory and storage in one laptop. The Intel Core 7 150U is intended for routine computing, including streaming, video calls and photo editing, while built-in Intel Graphics support everyday entertainment and multitasking. The 512GB SSD provides storage for files and applications, and 8GB RAM supports day-to-day use.

Rather than prioritising a smaller screen above all else, this model gives you a 15.6-inch display for work and entertainment in the same device. Its battery is rated for up to 10.75 hours, and HP Fast Charge can take it from 0 to 50% in approximately 45 minutes when the laptop is powered down. It also supports the universal USB-C charging standard. The power charger is sold separately.
