Finish Quantum Infinity Shine Dishwasher Tablets – Fresh (2x83) 166

What this product is

Finish Quantum Infinity Shine is a 3-chamber dishwasher tablet designed to tackle grease and food residues, with a formulation that aims to deliver a strong clean and shine without requiring pre-rinsing. The pack here contains two boxes of 83 tablets each, totaling 166 tablets. The brand positions its tablets as tough on stains while being gentle on glassware, and it notes compatibility with a range of popular dishwasher brands. On the surface, this is a straightforward, convenience-driven cleaning solution for everyday dishwashing.

How it works in practice

From the description, the 3-chamber chemistry is intended to optimise grease removal and surface cleanliness in a single wash, targeting common cooking residues. The promise of effective dish cleaning without pre-rinsing can save time and reduce water use, which is appealing for busy households. The product also suggests pairing with Finish Rinse Aid for better drying and spot prevention, and using Finish Dishwasher Cleaner periodically to maintain dishwasher hygiene. In short, it’s meant to simplify routine dishwashing with a single-dose approach.

What stands out and what may not

On the plus side, you get a strong a priori claim of grease cutting and stain removal, plus the convenience of not rinsing beforehand. The emphasis on glassware being gentle is helpful for households that value readable clarity on stems and rims. A potential limitation is that the description does not quantify stain removal performance, energy or water savings, or any independent testing results. It also mentions branding compatibility with several manufacturers but does not detail performance across different water hardness levels or soil loads.

Who this is for

This product appears well-suited for households looking to streamline dishwashing routines, especially those who prefer ready-to-use tablets and want to avoid pre-rinsing. If you already use Finish Rinse Aid and occasional dishwasher cleaning, this could slot neatly into your established routine. It may also suit households that prioritise reliable glassware care, given the claim of gentle treatment for fine dishes.

Who it isn’t the best option for

If you have very hard water or heavily soiled pans with stubborn burnt-on residues, you might want to verify how this formulation performs in those scenarios. If you rely on a low-temperature wash or need extra whitening for plastics, the description doesn’t specify outcomes for those use cases. For users who prioritise explicit third‑party testing or very high cleanliness margins, the lack of such data could be a consideration.

When it makes sense to buy

Consider Finish Quantum Infinity Shine if you value the convenience of a complete, pre‑measured tablet that claims strong grease and stain removal without pre-rinsing, and you already buy into the Finish ecosystem (Rinse Aid and Dishwasher Cleaner) for optimised results. The 2×83 pack could be economical for households with frequent dishwashing needs.

Before you buy: what to check

• Confirm your dishwasher’s compatibility with Finish tablets and any water hardness notes in your area.
• Consider whether you already use Finish Rinse Aid and Dishwasher Cleaner as part of your routine, the description suggests these as supporting products.
• If you have heavy soil or delicate glassware, test on a small load first to observe results.

How this compares to alternative approaches

In practice, you can choose between multi-chamber tablets like these, pour‑and-dissolve detergents, or powder tablets. The three-chamber design aims to balance grease removal, stain fighting and glass care in one dose, potentially offering more consistent results than a single‑purpose option. For households that value convenience and predictable performance, this type of tablet may be preferable to loose powders that require scooping. However, depending on water quality and soil level, some users may still find liquid or powder formats better suited to their needs.

Practical usage note

A common use scenario is loading the dishwasher, placing the tablet in the dispenser, and running a normal cycle. If you notice spots or film on glassware, you might need to adjust the rinse aid amount or cycle choice, as this varies with water hardness and load composition.

FAQ

DECISION: Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you want a convenient, pre-measured cleaning solution that aims to tackle grease and stains while protecting glassware, and you already use related Finish products for optimal drying and dishwasher hygiene. It may not be the best choice if you need explicit third‑party testing data or if your soil levels are exceptionally stubborn. A practical test on a small load could help confirm suitability for your kitchen setup.
