Edipets Dog Running Lead 160–220 cm 🐕

This hands free dog running lead from Edipets makes outdoor exercise and daily walks simpler while keeping your hands free and your dog under control. The 160–220 cm length offers room for movement during jogging or casual strolls and keeps a safe distance without losing connection to your pet. If you are looking for a hands free dog running lead for training or everyday use, this model balances freedom and control for both runner and dog.

Key Points

The design includes an anti-strain system that softens sudden tugs and reduces pressure on your arm and your dog. There are two additional handle loops for short recall and close control when passing other dogs or crossing streets. A discreet zip pocket built into the belt holds essentials such as keys, cards and a smartphone, allowing you to go out light. Reflective elements are incorporated along the length of the lead and on the belt for increased visibility in low light, helping with safety during early morning or evening runs. 🐾

Benefits

The combination of hands-free convenience and quick-access handles makes this lead suitable for both running and training sessions. The belt distributes tension around the waist which lessens strain on the shoulders and hands. Additionally, the built-in storage pocket reduces the need for extra bags on short outings. The double-handle layout helps you manage sudden movements without relying solely on the belt clip, which gives extra control in busy environments. 🏃♂️

Usage Recommendations

Fasten the belt snugly around your waist so the lead sits comfortably without sliding. Use the short handle when tighter control is needed, for example when approaching other dogs or crossing roads, and switch to the longer running position to allow freer movement during exercise. Check the D-rings and clip regularly for wear and ensure the zip pocket is closed before vigorous activity to avoid losing items. Consider that the maximum waist fit is 115 cm, according to the manufacturer, so measure before pairing with larger sizes. The lead may not be the best option for dogs that pull excessively or for powerful breeds without additional training or a harness.
