Benefits
This raincover focuses on practicality, giving waterproof sealed seams and a durable coating that reduce the chance of soak-through during prolonged exposure. The design includes a reflective logo that helps with safety in low light and a colour scheme chosen for activity visibility. It is unobtrusive to pack and simple to deploy, which suits variable weather on a long walk or an urban commute.
Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if you want low-effort protection for backpacks in wet conditions and value compact kit you can stash away until needed. Bear in mind there is no weight figure supplied by the manufacturer, so if ultralight packing is a priority you may want to confirm weight before buying.
Deuter Raincover II appears in usage-ready sizes for 30 to 50 litre packs, and the taped seams and PU coating are the key features that deliver its waterproof performance. The reflective detail adds a modest safety advantage on overcast days and at dusk. 🧭🌧️
