Bravmate Montessori Wooden Shape Sorter for 12-18 Months

This wooden Montessori toy set combines shape sorting, stacking rings and a pull-along cart to engage toddlers in hands-on play that reinforces colours, shapes and early counting. Designed by Bravmate for children from around 12 months, it supports fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while offering multiple ways to play at home or in nursery settings.

Key Points

The set brings together five activities in one compact toy, including wooden shape blocks, a geometric sorter, a multifunctional pull-along cart, rainbow stacking rings and basic construction blocks. The pieces are sized to reduce ingestion risk and have rounded edges for safer handling by small hands. The cart stores the blocks and can be pulled around by the attached cord, adding movement to sorting and stacking play. According to the manufacturer, the design encourages colour and shape recognition, counting and simple problem solving for ages 1 to 3 years. 🎨

Usage Recommendations

Start by demonstrating one activity, such as matching a single shape to its slot, then gradually introduce stacking or pulling the cart to vary the challenge. Mix play modes by hiding a block inside the cart for retrieval games or lining shapes in colour sequences to practice early counting. Consider that some very curious toddlers may try to mouth parts, so supervise play according to the child’s developmental stage and follow the manufacturer’s age guidance. 🔄
