AUAUY Light Up Dog Collar LED, USB Rechargeable 1

This LED dog collar from AUAUY brings bright visibility and adjustable lighting to evening walks, helping owners keep pets seen by drivers, cyclists and runners in low light. With USB rechargeable LEDs and a choice of steady or cycling colour modes, this collar combines practicality and style for small to large dogs.

Key Points

The collar offers high visibility in darkness, with the manufacturer stating it can be seen from up to 500 metres in low or no light, which helps reduce the risk of accidents. It includes a simple one-button control to switch between six steady colours and an automatic six-colour cycling mode, making it easy to change the look while out on a walk. The design mixes nylon with a PVC leather trim for a balance of durability and a cleaner finish, and the collar is lightweight enough for everyday wear.

Benefits

The rechargeable battery removes the need for disposable cells and reduces running costs over time. Bright LEDs mean the collar is not only decorative but functional at night, improving pet visibility on roads and in open spaces. Multiple colours allow owners to pick a gentle tone for evening calm or a brighter hue for maximum contrast against dark coats. The PVC leather trim gives a more polished appearance than plain fabric collars while helping protect the LED strip from minor wear.

Usage Recommendations

Charge the collar for at least two hours prior to first use to ensure the battery reaches full capacity. For routine cleaning, wipe the PVC leather and nylon with a damp cloth rather than immersing the collar in water, as the product is mildly water resistant but not intended for prolonged soaking. Adjust the M size using the nylon adjustment zone and, if necessary, trim towards the PVC leather area while leaving enough slack for comfort and ventilation.

Note a practical limitation, according to the manufacturer the collar should not be washed or soaked and heavy rain may affect longevity. Also consider that battery duration will vary with the selected mode and frequency of use, so regular charging is recommended for consistent night-time visibility.
