ALLILUYAA 248 × 148 cm windscreen snow cover

This windscreen snow cover from ALLILUYAA protects the front glass and mirrors against frost, ice and snow, helping you avoid long scrapes and cold mornings. The 248 x 148 cm sheet is sized for most cars, SUVs and many trucks, and it works year-round as a sunshade and dust shield as well as winter protection.

Key Points

The cover is built with four layered materials that combine a reflective aluminium layer, spunlace cotton and woven cotton, plus a white lining to block cold and reduce abrasion. A reflective strip on the mirror flap increases visibility when parked at night, which can be useful in poorly lit areas. Installation is straightforward, with four elastic straps and plastic hooks that attach to door edges or wheel arches, and the telescopic strap can be tucked under the vehicle if needed. Consider that very large vans or extra-wide windscreens may need a larger size.

Usage Recommendations

Place the cover over the windscreen so the reflective aluminium side faces out to repel frost and sun. Use the mirror flap to cover the wing mirrors and secure the elastic straps to door edges or under the car as described, making sure hooks are seated to prevent wind lift. Remove gently when free of heavy ice to avoid pulling on wipers or trims. For storage, fold dry and keep in a clean bag to prolong the fabric life.

Positive Aspects

The multi-layer construction aims to combine thermal insulation with scratch resistance, which reduces the need for forceful scraping. The reflective strip on the mirror increases nighttime visibility and the white inner lining helps prevent direct contact with the glass. It's a versatile accessory that also serves as a shade in summer and a dust cover during storage. According to the manufacturer, the size fits most passenger vehicles, offering a balance between coverage and manageability.
