The 4M laminate flooring threshold strip is a flexible PVC transition bar designed to tidy gaps between different floor surfaces and to protect edges where floors meet. Usage tips
Prepare the floor thoroughly before fitting, clean and dry the surface so the adhesive can bond properly. Cut to length, start by securing one end and peel the backing as you press the strip down to avoid misalignment. If ambient temperature is below 20°C, gently warm the backing adhesive with a hairdryer to improve adhesion. It’s a practical, low-effort way to cover gaps and reduce trip edges, though it performs best on reasonably even surfaces.
Care & maintenance
Keep the strip free of grit to avoid surface abrasion, and clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent when needed. Avoid hot steam cleaners or harsh chemicals that might affect the adhesive or PVC finish. With sensible care it should remain functional and unobtrusive for everyday use.
