VASAGLE SOFIE BBC001G01 Under-Sink Cabinet, Slate Grey, Adjustable Shelf

A small bathroom may need hidden storage without taking up the space of a full vanity. This VASAGLE floor cabinet is designed to sit beneath a sink, with two doors to keep everyday items out of sight. What matters most is whether its opening suits your plumbing? Measure before choosing, as the cut-out is a defined size. Its compact footprint and adjustable shelf make it a practical option where those dimensions work.

Usage tips

Measure the available floor space and the sink’s pipework before assembly. The cabinet measures 60 x 30 x 60 cm, and the U-shaped siphon opening is 20 x 15 cm, those figures are particularly important if the basin has a pedestal or pipework that sits low. Although the product is described as suitable for pedestal and non-pedestal sinks, buyers report mixed experiences with fit, including cases where it did not suit a standard sink. Matching your own plumbing to the opening is a more useful check than relying on the general compatibility claim.

Once assembled, the interior shelf can be set at three different heights. That gives you a choice between making room for taller bottles and separating smaller bathroom essentials across the two compartments. The cabinet is freestanding and floor-mounted, and an anti-tip kit is included for wall securing. Its engineered-wood/MDF construction has a slate grey finish described as moisture-resistant and easy to wipe clean, but this is still a bathroom storage unit rather than a replacement for a fitted vanity.

Benefits

The main draw is the combination of concealed storage and a compact footprint. Two doors help keep toiletries and cleaning items less visible than they would be on open shelving, while the adjustable shelf makes the space more adaptable than a fixed-layout cupboard. The farmhouse-style door panels and metal accents also give it a more decorative look than a plain utility cabinet, without changing its straightforward storage role.

For a small bathroom, it could hold the items used most often while leaving a larger vanity or other storage for bulkier supplies. It’s a good fit if you want a standalone cupboard under the sink and have checked that the opening and overall dimensions match your room. It might not be a great match if your pipework needs a larger cut-out or the cabinet would obstruct the sink fittings.

Buyers’ views on both quality and fit are mixed. Some are pleased with the cabinet and its fit, while others are dissatisfied with the build or say it did not accommodate their sink. These differing experiences reinforce the value of checking the measurements and plumbing layout before deciding.

Should you buy it?

Choose this cabinet if you want a compact, enclosed place for bathroom essentials and its opening lines up with your sink plumbing. The adjustable shelf and farmhouse styling make it more considered than basic open storage, while the fixed cut-out is the key trade-off: a larger or differently positioned pipe arrangement may call for another storage approach. For this type of use, measure the sink area first and treat the stated fit as a guide rather than a guarantee.
