SONGMICS HOME HOPU BBC667WJ01 Tall Bathroom Cabinet, 30 x 30 x 170 cm

For a bathroom where floor space is limited but everyday essentials need a home, this tall, narrow cabinet makes use of vertical space. Its footprint is 30 x 30 cm, with a height of 170 cm.

The SONGMICS HOME HOPU BBC667WJ01 has two doors, two open compartments and three adjustable shelves. The rustic white and honey brown finish brings a modern farmhouse look to the room.

Assembly is designed to be tool-free, and the doors can be fitted to open from either side. That makes the cabinet easier to position around the layout of a compact washroom.

What to know

This is a freestanding floor cabinet made from particleboard and MDF. The adjustable shelves can help organise items of different heights, such as shampoo bottles alongside folded towels, while the open compartments keep selected essentials accessible. The doors provide enclosed storage for items you would rather keep out of sight.

The stated maximum weight capacity is 10 kilograms. That makes it more suited to bathroom essentials than to storing heavy household supplies. The supplied anti-tip kit is intended to secure the cabinet to a wall, it should be properly attached as part of setting the unit up.

Customer feedback highlights straightforward assembly and clear instructions, along with positive comments about the cabinet’s appearance and sturdiness. These are individual buyer impressions rather than a guarantee of how it will suit every room or assembly setup.

Care & maintenance

Keep the cabinet away from heat sources, as the product guidance warns that heat may damage or warp the material. Avoid overloading it, which could affect stability, and secure the anti-tip kit to help prevent the unit from tipping. The product details do not specify a particular cleaning method, so avoid assuming that the engineered wood can be treated like a waterproof surface.

How to use it

Place the cabinet on the floor where its tall profile can use otherwise underused vertical space, then arrange the adjustable shelves to suit the items you plan to store. For instance, a household could set one shelf to accommodate taller bottles and use another area for smaller washroom supplies, keeping frequently used items in an open compartment if easy access matters.

The snap-together design is described as requiring no tools, with assembly taking about 15 minutes. The hinges can be installed on the left or right, so the doors can be set to suit the available access. Follow the assembly guidance and attach the anti-tip kit rather than relying on the cabinet’s freestanding position alone.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if you need enclosed and open bathroom storage in a narrow footprint, or prefer adjustable shelving to a fixed-layout cupboard. Compared with a low, wide unit, this design uses less floor width and more height, a wider cabinet may be a better fit when you have space to spare and want storage spread across a larger area.

It might not be a great match if you need to store heavy items, given the stated 10-kilogram maximum weight capacity, or if you want a cabinet made from a material specifically described as waterproof. The reversible doors and tool-free assembly are useful practical details, but the main buying decision is whether its tall dimensions and modest weight limit suit your bathroom and the items you intend to keep in it.
