Usage tips

Use the different plate and bowl styles to serve a meal from starters through to dessert: the dinner plates suit main courses, while the soup plates can also be used for pasta. The bowls offer another option for cereal or salads. This mix makes the set useful for both a regular family meal and a table with several courses.

The glazed blue finish has wave-like colour variations, with individual pieces showing their own details. That gives the coordinated set a little variation without losing its shared look. If you are choosing between collecting individual crockery and buying a complete service, PLAYA brings the main place-setting pieces together for six in one purchase.

Tips for day-to-day use

The plates and bowls can be cleaned in the dishwasher and used in the microwave, helping simplify meal preparation and clearing up. Their stackable shape also makes it easier to organise the set in a cupboard. For a practical routine, keep the matching pieces together so the right plate or bowl is readily available when setting the table.

Buyer feedback on cleaning is positive, with customers highlighting that the crockery is easy to wash and dry. Comments on durability are more mixed: some describe it as sturdy, while others report scratching after use or breakage, including reports involving plates in the microwave. These are individual customer experiences, the stated care guidance identifies the pieces as microwave and dishwasher safe.

What to clarify

What pieces are included? The set contains six dinner plates, six soup plates, six salad plates and six bowls, providing place settings for six people.

Can the crockery go in the dishwasher and microwave? Yes. The set is described as dishwasher safe and microwave safe, so it can be used for reheating and put through a dishwasher cycle.

What is the set made from? The pieces are made from glazed stoneware. The material is stated to be lead-free and cadmium-free, and the blue wave-pattern finish gives the service its distinctive look.
