UGREEN 85079 45W 5-Port GaN USB-C Charger with USB-A
Product description
Charge a mobile phone, tablet and other everyday devices from one wall charger at home, at work or while travelling. The UGREEN 85079 combines four USB-C ports with a USB-A port, giving you five connections in a compact grey plug.
GaN technology supports a compact design, while a USB-C port offers up to 45W output for fast charging. The charger also supports charging five devices at the same time, helping keep multiple gadgets powered without taking a separate plug for each one.
Need to charge a mix of newer USB-C devices and USB-A accessories? This five-port layout brings both connection types together, with short-circuit protection and additional safeguards against overcurrent, overvoltage and overheating.
Practical tips
Use the USB-C ports for compatible phones, tablets and other USB-C devices, and the USB-A port for accessories with that connection. A single USB-C port can provide up to 45W, the power available to each device when several are connected can vary with the charging arrangement and device requirements. For the best match, use a suitable charging cable for each device.
The plug has a UK-style connector, so use it with a compatible socket. Its 129g weight and compact form make it handy to pack for a trip or keep in a shared charging area. At home, it can sit where several devices are used together, such as a desk or bedside table.

Its GaN design and portable format also make it practical to move between a desk, home and travel bag.
Built-in protection covers overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating and short circuits. An intelligent chip detects device requirements to help provide an appropriate charge, adding reassurance when several devices are connected. The manufacturer lists compatibility with a range of Apple, Samsung, Google Pixel and other phones, as well as tablets and laptops, charging depends on the device and the connection used.
Buyers particularly appreciate the charging speed, the ability to power multiple devices and its portability. Those comments reflect customer impressions rather than a guarantee of charging time for every device.
