They Will Kill You [2026] DVD – Horror-action comedy starring Zazie Beetz

The DVD presents a horror-action comedy built around a young woman’s fight to survive a night inside the Virgil, a mysterious lair controlled by a demonic cult. Its mix of danger and dark humour gives the story a distinct tone from a straight horror film.

With Zazie Beetz, Heather Graham, Paterson Joseph and Tom Felton in the cast, it brings together a recognisable ensemble for a story driven by survival, elaborate peril and wickedly dark comedy.

How to use it

Play the DVD on a DVD player for a feature-length viewing at home. The story follows a young woman trapped overnight in the Virgil, where a demonic cult intends to make her its next offering. That simple survival premise keeps the focus on a tense race through a dangerous setting, while the dark humour gives the film a more irreverent edge than a conventional horror story.

It suits a film night for viewers who enjoy horror mixed with action and comedy rather than a story that stays within one genre. The 1 hour and 31 minute runtime makes it a straightforward choice when you want a complete feature rather than a series of episodes. If you are choosing between a purely frightening film and a more playful genre mix, this one puts peril and dark humour side by side.

Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the DVD with your film collection so it is easy to find when you are planning a horror-comedy viewing. Handle the disc by its edges and return it to its case after use to help keep its surface clear. The compact listed dimensions make the package straightforward to store with other DVDs, whether you organise films by genre, cast or director.

For a group viewing, the film’s combination of survival, action and wickedly dark humour offers more than one tone to follow. Viewers looking for the story’s central hook can focus on the young woman’s attempt to make it through the night at the Virgil, those drawn to the comic side can look out for the film’s deliberately dark approach to its perilous premise.

Buying verdict

They Will Kill You is a clear fit for a home collection centred on horror with an action-comedy streak. The unusual setting, a survival-led story and Kirill Sokolov’s direction give it a defined identity, while the ensemble cast adds another reason to choose this DVD over a more conventional horror-only title. It makes sense if you want a feature-length film that pairs a dangerous cult lair with dark humour and a fight to survive.
