Supaway 97312 Rubber Door Wedges, Set of 4, Non-Slip Grip

Keep a door open while carrying shopping indoors, airing a room or moving between rooms with the Supaway 97312 door wedges. Each wedge sits beneath the door to help hold it in position, while the rubber grip is designed to reduce slipping and cushion contact with the floor and door.

The set includes four black wedges, so you can keep them in different rooms or have one ready to hand when needed. Their mobile, floor-mounted design makes them easy to reposition without fitting anything permanently to the door or frame.

Key points

Each wedge combines rubber with a stainless-steel handle. A ridged, wave-patterned top gives the door a grippy surface, while the soft rubber base helps it stay in place. The wedge shape lets you adjust how far it sits beneath the door, helping create a secure hold without relying on a smooth surface alone.

The design is intended to cushion contact and help protect doors, floors and nearby walls from knocks or scratches. Holding a door open can also help prevent it from swinging shut unexpectedly, which is useful around children and pets and can reduce the disturbance of repeated opening and closing at home or in an office.

The wedges are sized at 120 x 50 x 35 mm and suit door-to-floor gaps from 5 mm to 30 mm. If a gap is larger, two wedges can be stacked together. They are suitable for a range of floor surfaces, including tiles, concrete, carpet, laminate, linoleum and wood, and can be used with wood, metal and self-closing doors.

Who it’s for

This four-piece set is useful for households that want a portable way to hold doors open without installing a fixed door stop. It also suits shared workspaces, where a door may need to stay open temporarily while people carry items through or move between rooms. Instead of choosing a permanently fitted stop for one location, you can move a wedge to the door that needs it and keep the others elsewhere.

Tips for day-to-day use

Measure the gap beneath the door before choosing a wedge, then place it at one end and adjust its position and angle until the door is held securely. The fit range is 5 mm to 30 mm, for a larger gap, the product instructions describe stacking two wedges. When you need the door to move freely again, pull the wedge out from beneath it using the handle and put it away until needed. Its compact size makes it straightforward to carry from room to room.

Is it worth it?

The practical advantage is having four reusable, movable door stops rather than relying on one fixed position. The ridged top, grippy rubber base and adjustable placement make the set useful for everyday tasks such as keeping a door open while bringing in bags, airing a room or moving equipment through a doorway. For homes and offices looking for a simple way to hold suitable doors in place while helping protect nearby surfaces, the Supaway wedges offer a convenient option across several rooms.
