Xcdhemde MST-B-8M Hook and Loop Tape, 8m x 2cm, Black Self-Adhesive Strips

At 8m x 2cm, this black hook and loop tape comes as two rolls: one hook strip and one loop strip. Cut each to the length your project needs, then peel away the adhesive backing and apply it to a suitable surface. The reusable fastening is handy for jobs that need an adjustable hold, from organising cables to securing cushions.

Fit and sizing

Each roll is 8m long and 2cm wide, giving you a matching hook-and-loop pair to cut for different tasks. Trim the strips to suit the area you want to fasten, whether that is a short section for office organisation or a longer run for a household project. The black colour offers a neat, discreet finish on darker surfaces and materials.

For a practical setup, measure the area first, cut matching lengths, then apply the adhesive sides where you want the fastening. Press the hook and loop faces together to close it, separate them when you need access or want to reposition the attached item. Unlike a fixed tie or one-use fastening, this format can be opened and reused, making it useful for items that need occasional adjustment.

Where it shines

Use the tape to keep cables together around a desk, hold picture frames in place, or help reduce movement from sofa cushions and mattresses. It also suits craft and DIY jobs where a cut-to-length fastening is more useful than a standard fixed-size strip. For fly-screen projects, it offers a way to create a removable hook-and-loop fixing, with the adhesive backing applied to a suitable location.

The rolls are easy to adapt as a project takes shape: cut only the length needed, keep the remaining tape ready for another task, and use the hook-and-loop closure wherever you want to detach and reattach items. It is a practical choice for both indoor and outdoor applications, as well as everyday home and office organisation.

When it makes sense

Choose this tape when you want a flexible fastening that can be cut to suit the job and opened again when needed. For a cable tidy, for example, cut a section to gather the cables, then use the reusable closure to make future adjustments straightforward. The same roll format can serve several small organising or craft tasks, rather than requiring a separate pre-sized fastener for each one.

It makes sense if you need a simple, adaptable option for household fixes, office organisation or DIY projects, and value having both sides of the fastening in matching rolls. The 8m x 2cm format gives you room to tailor lengths to the task, while the black finish keeps the fastening understated in everyday settings.
