SONGMICS PARRI Collection LTB570E50 Double Kitchen Bin, 50L, Soft-Close Pedal

Two separate compartments make it easier to sort everyday rubbish and recyclables without using two bins. The SONGMICS PARRI Collection LTB570E50 has a combined capacity of 50 litres and a slim rectangular profile, so it brings sorting into a kitchen while making practical use of narrower floor space.

A foot pedal opens the lid, keeping hands free when you are preparing food or clearing up. The two-part lid opens from the centre, and its soft-closing action helps keep everyday disposal quieter.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use one inner bucket for general waste and the other for recycling, so each has a clear place as you tidy. The removable buckets lift out for cleaning and have handles to make changing liners simpler, the rounded corners help prevent bags from catching as they come out. The liners can also be kept in place and out of sight for a neater finish.

The bin measures 49 x 29 x 64 cm with the pedal, making its slim footprint useful beside a kitchen counter or in a narrow gap. Allow for a total height of 77 cm when the lid is open. For routine care, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and use mild detergent if needed. The listed package contents include the bin, rubbish bags and stickers.

Strengths

The main benefit is having two waste streams in one unit: rather than placing a separate general-waste bin and recycling bin side by side, you can keep both close at hand in a single footprint. The two removable inner buckets support that simple separation, while the pedal-operated lid makes disposal convenient during food preparation. The centre-opening wing lids are designed to clear low countertops, helping the bin fit into a kitchen layout where a full-width lid could be awkward.

The exterior is described as polished metallic silver, with steel construction and polypropylene inner buckets. Buyers praise the bin’s appearance and everyday functionality, with particular appreciation for its soft-closing lid and suitability for smaller kitchen spaces. These comments reflect individual experiences, while the practical appeal is clear in the bin’s two-compartment layout and narrow shape.

Key takeaways

This is a 50-litre kitchen bin with separate 20-litre and 30-litre inner buckets, giving you distinct spaces for waste and recycling. The rectangular body measures 49 x 29 x 64 cm, and the bin weighs 7.3 kg. A stainless-steel pedal provides foot-operated access, while the two-part lid closes softly. Together, these features make it a considered alternative to a single-compartment bin when sorting at the point of disposal matters and floor space is limited.

It’s a good fit if you want one kitchen unit that combines waste separation, removable buckets and pedal access. The split capacity is also useful for assigning more room to the waste stream that fills faster in your household, while keeping both categories organised in the same place.

Buying verdict

For kitchens where recycling and general waste need to be separated without setting out two full-size bins, the SONGMICS LTB570E50 brings both into one slim, pedal-operated design. Its 50-litre capacity, removable inner buckets and softly closing centre-opening lid focus on the everyday tasks of sorting, emptying and cleaning. Choose it for a tidy, practical waste station that keeps two categories within easy reach.
