Who it’s for

This bin suits households looking for a sizeable everyday rubbish bin that can be opened without touching the lid. Step on the pedal when your hands are full during meal preparation, then let the lid close slowly to keep the routine quieter than a bin with a lid that drops shut. For tasks such as cleaning out the fridge, the lid can also be opened fully by hand and held open, giving you room to work without repeatedly operating the pedal.

The 30 L capacity is useful for regular kitchen waste, while the removable bucket makes it easier to lift out a liner and clean the inside. A bag hole in the inner bucket helps keep the liner in place and out of sight. The rear handle is handy when moving the bin to wipe the floor or make space in the kitchen. Compared with a simple open-top bin, this pedal-operated design keeps the lid closed between uses, it’s a practical choice when you want convenient access without leaving rubbish uncovered.

Buyers often praise the bin’s appearance, sturdy feel and useful capacity. Feedback on the lid is more mixed: while the soft-close action is appreciated, some buyers report that its closing mechanism stopped working early. This is worth bearing in mind if the soft-close feature is a key part of your choice.

Box contents

The package contains one rubbish bin. The bin is intended for indoor use. For everyday care, wipe the steel exterior with a soft, damp cloth, mild detergent can be used if needed. Avoid forcing the lid shut by hand to help maintain its closing action.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a 30 L kitchen bin that combines hands-free pedal access, a removable bucket and a clean-lined black steel exterior. The slow-closing lid and option to keep it open for a task add useful flexibility to daily kitchen routines, while the inner bucket’s bag hole helps keep the liner tidy. Choose it for a kitchen where capacity, easy disposal and a more considered-looking bin all matter.
