SONGMICS GFW909G01 Sandy Collection Folding Trolley, 90 L, Steel Frame

The foldable design makes it easier to store this SONGMICS trolley when it is not carrying shopping, picnic gear or camping supplies. It opens into a 90 L cart and folds down for storage in a car boot or a smaller space.

At 5 kg, it is relatively light to move when empty, and four wheels help it roll rather than being carried. Two wheels swivel through 360°, which can help when steering around tighter spaces.

There is one detail worth weighing up before loading it: the stated maximum load figures differ across the product information. The listed features give 120 kg, while the manufacturer’s notes give 180 kg as the maximum and distinguish this from a 216 kg static load. Treat that as an unresolved discrepancy rather than assuming the higher figure applies in use.

Usage tips

The drawstring folds the trolley, while a hook-and-loop fastener secures the handle for transport when folded. For a day at the beach, it can carry towels and picnic supplies in one trip, it can also be used for groceries, garden tools or camping equipment. The manufacturer advises pulling it slowly when loaded and says not to use it to transport people.

If you prioritise a specific load limit, the conflicting figures matter: avoid basing a purchase or load on the higher number until the applicable limit is clear. Buyers’ comments are also mixed on sturdiness. Some describe the cart as robust and useful, while others report front-wheel or wheel breakages after little use. Feedback on its size varies too, with some finding it compact and others saying it is large. These are individual impressions, not a guarantee of how a particular trolley will perform.

Compared with carrying bags or making several trips by hand, the trolley offers a wheeled way to move bulky outdoor gear, then folds for storage. A fixed, more demanding cart may be a better fit for regular heavy-duty work, especially if a clearly confirmed load rating is essential. You’ll like it if you want a folding cart for mixed everyday and outdoor carrying, and can work within the stated capacity once clarified. It might not be a great match if you need an unambiguous load rating before choosing.

In the box

The package includes one garden wagon and instructions. The supplied information does not list additional accessories, so the trolley itself is the main item to expect.
