OFFCUP CAT 7 RJ45 Keystone Modules, 5-Pack, Tool-Free, 10 Gbit/s

For a home or office network that needs a tidy connection point in a wall socket or patch panel, the OFFCUP CAT 7 keystone modules provide an RJ45 connection in a compact format. Their snap-in design makes installation tool-free. The modules support transmission rates up to 10 Gbit/s and a frequency of 500 MHz, making them useful for structured network connections and cable extensions.

The essentials

Each module acts as a shielded CAT 7 RJ45 socket, giving you a neat way to terminate a network cable at a compatible panel or wall plate. They are designed for use with most panels and patch panels, and support cables from 22 to 26 AWG. That makes them a practical choice when setting up a fixed connection point for a computer, games console or other network equipment.

The snap-in installation keeps fitting straightforward, while the through-circuit design lets a module serve as a CAT 7 coupler between two network cables. This is useful when a cable needs extending or when a connection needs to be organised through a panel rather than left as a loose join. The shielded connection is designed to help protect signal transmission from interference. The pack contains five modules, giving you options for several connection points or spare capacity for a network setup.

Quick sizing guide

Check that the cable you plan to use is within the supported 22 to 26 AWG range. The modules are intended for compatible keystone panels, patch panels and wall sockets, so this format suits installations where a modular RJ45 connection is needed. Their CAT 7 rating supports up to 10 Gbit/s and 500 MHz, actual network speed depends on the connected equipment and the rest of the network.

Compared with using a ready-made patch cable for every connection, a keystone module is a better fit when you want a socket integrated into a panel or wall plate, or need a compact coupler to join cable runs. For a simple device-to-router connection with no need for a fixed socket or extension, a standard patch cable is the more direct approach.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the modules to organise wired connections at a desk, in a home network cabinet or at a wall socket. For example, a cable run can terminate at a patch panel, with a short Ethernet lead connecting the panel to a computer or games console. The RJ45 interface supports a familiar connection format for network equipment, while the snap-in design helps keep the installation neat and accessible.

When extending a run, connect the two CAT 7 network cables through the module and keep the join at an accessible point. Match the cable gauge to the supported range and use a compatible keystone opening in the panel or wall plate. This makes it easier to manage connections as equipment or room layouts change, without having to leave the cable join loose.

What to clarify

What type of connection does each module provide? Each is a CAT 7 RJ45 module with a through-circuit design, so it can be used in a compatible panel or as a coupler between two CAT 7 network cables.

Can it be installed without a tool? Yes. The module uses a snap-in fitting for tool-free installation in a compatible keystone panel or wall socket.

Which cables are supported? The stated cable range is 22 to 26 AWG. The CAT 7 design supports transmission up to 10 Gbit/s and 500 MHz.

Buying verdict

Choose this five-module pack when you want to build organised RJ45 connection points into compatible panels or wall sockets, or create a tidy CAT 7 cable extension. Tool-free snap-in fitting, a shielded design and support for up to 10 Gbit/s make it a useful fit for structured home and office network setups.
