Laleni Terry Fitted Sheet 40x90cm for Cribs, Dark Ocean Blue
Product description
A sheet for a compact baby mattress needs to stay in place, while a general-purpose option may not give the same close fit. The Laleni Terry Fitted Sheet is sized for cradles, Moses baskets and bassinets. Its cotton-polyester terry fabric is described as soft and warm. The dark ocean blue colour has a plain pattern.
What matters most
The fabric is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Terry is a useful detail if you want a cosy feel for a baby's sleeping space, rather than a thinner, smoother sheet. The listing also states that the sheet is tested for harmful substances under STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX, certificate number 20.0.23116. That gives buyers a specific certification detail to consider, without making it a substitute for checking whether the sheet suits the mattress.
An all-round elastic edge is intended to hold the sheet taut and reduce slipping. That makes it a practical style for a mattress that is regularly removed or changed, such as one in a Moses basket or crib. The listed pack contains one sheet, so it is a single replacement rather than a ready-made spare set.
Quick sizing guide
The stated size is 40 x 90 cm, with the product description giving a 10 cm depth. Match those measurements against the mattress itself before ordering: a fitted sheet depends on the mattress dimensions for a close fit, and the listing does not give a wider range of sizes for this particular item. It is presented for cradles, Moses baskets and bassinets, and also mentions strollers, bedside cribs and playpens. Those uses still depend on the mattress matching the sheet’s dimensions.
Worth considering if you need a fitted sheet for a compact 40 x 90 cm mattress and prefer terry fabric. Better avoided if your mattress has different measurements or you need more than one sheet in the pack.
Getting the most from it
For a practical routine, keep it as the clean fitted sheet for a matching bassinet mattress and wash it when needed. The care details say it is machine washable, the product description specifies washing at 60°C and says it is dryer-safe. Follow the care label supplied with the sheet for the final instructions. Since the pack contains one piece, having a separate spare is a more useful approach if you want a clean replacement immediately while the first sheet is being washed.
The elasticated edge is designed to make fitting straightforward, but the key buying decision is still size, not the broad claim of universal fit. Compared with choosing a sheet mainly for colour or a general nursery look, matching the mattress dimensions first is the more reliable way to avoid a poor fit. Dark Ocean Blue and the solid pattern can then be considered as style details.
Buying verdict
This Laleni sheet is a focused choice for a 40 x 90 cm baby mattress if you want a terry surface, an elasticated fit and the stated OEKO-TEX certification. Its care details and single-piece format are clear, which makes it easy to judge as a replacement sheet. The main limitation is its specific sizing: it is not a general solution for mattresses of other dimensions. Choose it when the measurements match, for a different mattress size or an immediate spare, look for a suitably sized alternative or a pack that includes more than one sheet.
