Laleni Baby Crawling Mat, 120 x 150 x 1 cm, Foldable Waterproof City Design
Product description
The foldable design makes this Laleni baby crawling mat easier to store or take along than a fixed play area. Its 120 x 150 cm surface gives babies room to play at home or outdoors. A waterproof, insulating layer helps keep the play space comfortable and protected from moisture. The City motif is colourful on one side, with a neutral design on the reverse.
Who it’s for
This mat is intended for babies who need a defined surface for crawling and floor play. Its dimensions give more room than a small portable mat, while the folding format suits households that want to put play equipment away between uses. It can also be taken on trips, the product description mentions a practical transport bag.
For a typical day, it could be unfolded in a living room for play, then folded away when the floor is needed for something else. It is also described for indoor and outdoor use, so it offers more flexibility than a mat intended only for one room. Worth considering if you want one surface for home play and occasional trips, rather than a permanently laid floor covering.
Benefits
The waterproof finish is intended to help protect the mat from moisture and dirt, while the insulating layer creates a softer barrier between a child and the floor. The product details describe a 7-micrometre lamination. That combination may be useful when play moves between indoor floors and outdoor settings, where a dry, easy-to-carry surface matters.
There are two designs in one: a colourful City side with shapes intended to catch a baby’s attention, and a neutral side for a calmer look. This gives parents a choice of appearance without needing a second mat. The listing also describes the material as non-toxic and tested for harmful substances, that is a product claim rather than a substitute for checking any specific safety information you need.
The essentials
- Material: Polyurethane
- Dimensions: 120 x 150 x 1 cm
- Weight: 560 grams
- Colour: City
- Format: Foldable, reversible play mat
- What’s included: One mat, a practical transport bag is mentioned in the product description
The 1 cm thickness is a useful detail when comparing it with thicker floor mats: this is a portable play surface, not described as a deep-padded mat. If you prioritise substantial cushioning for a particular floor or activity, look for a product with explicit padding details before choosing. The stated dimensions and weight help with planning where it will fit and how it can be carried, though no folded measurements are provided.
What to clarify
Does it work outdoors? The listing describes it for indoor and outdoor use, with a waterproof surface intended to protect against moisture and dirt.
Can both sides be used? Yes. One side has the City design and the reverse is described as neutral.
Is a transport bag included? A practical bag is mentioned as making the mat easier to transport, although the supplied-items list is not detailed separately.
Final verdict
The Laleni is a practical choice if you want a foldable, reversible mat with a generous play surface and stated indoor/outdoor use. Its portability and waterproof finish distinguish it from a basic floor blanket, while its 1 cm thickness may not suit anyone seeking pronounced cushioning. Better avoided if thicker padding is a priority and you need that requirement confirmed in the product details.
