GOODS+GADGETS 25457402 Book Safe, 24 x 15 cm, Key Lock, Steel Walls

A dictionary-style cover lets the GOODS+GADGETS 25457402 Book Safe sit among books, while a key-locked steel compartment provides a discreet place for small valuables. Its familiar book format makes it useful for keeping belongings out of sight without adding an obvious safe to a room.

At 24 x 15 x 5.5 cm, it has space for items such as cash, a passport, jewellery, spare keys or small documents. The compartment is made with 0.8 mm steel walls, and the lock uses a key rather than a combination. Two keys are included, so there is a spare to keep separately.

Worth noting

The book-shaped exterior is designed to resemble a real dictionary, making a bookshelf a natural place to keep it. That discreet appearance is the main difference from a conventional cash box or document pouch: rather than looking like a container for valuables, it blends in with the books around it. The beige cover and realistic book styling suit a home office, bedroom or shared living space where keeping items out of immediate view is useful.

The steel compartment offers a solid enclosure for everyday valuables, while the key lock gives straightforward access without a code to remember. Its 2.5-litre capacity is suited to compact belongings rather than bulky items. Buyer feedback highlights the book-like appearance and the perceived quality of the safe, both of which support its role as a discreet storage option.

Best use cases

Place it among books at home to keep cash, jewellery or spare keys tucked away, or use it to store a passport and small documents in one contained place. Its portable design also makes it practical to take along for a stay in a hotel room or holiday rental, where a familiar-looking book can be less conspicuous than a visible cash box. For anyone choosing between an ordinary lockable box and hidden storage, this model combines a locked compartment with a book-style exterior.

Practical tips

Choose a bookshelf or other spot where a dictionary looks at home, and keep the spare key somewhere separate from the safe. Before storing documents, check that their size suits the compartment dimensions. For access, use the key lock, there is no combination to memorise. The portable format also makes it easy to move between rooms or pack with other belongings when needed.
