GOLDEN ICEPURE Coffee Machine Water Filters, 6-Pack, NSF Certified

If you want to maintain a coffee machine and improve the water used for each brew, a replaceable filter offers a practical routine. These GOLDEN ICEPURE filters are made for specified Sage Barista models, with activated carbon and ion-exchange resin to reduce impurities and scale-forming minerals. The pack of six gives you filters ready for future replacements.

Key takeaways

The filters are listed as compatible with Sage Barista SES008, SES810, SES880, SES920, SES980 and SES990 coffee machines. Match your machine’s model number with this list before choosing a replacement. The product is NSF certified and uses activated carbon and ion-exchange resin to reduce limescale, calcium, magnesium, lead, copper and other heavy metals in tap water, while retaining essential minerals.

Reducing scale build-up can help keep the machine’s internal water system cleaner as part of regular care. The stated material is stainless steel, and the filter materials are described as food-grade, BPA-free and lead-free. Rather than choosing a filter solely by appearance or pack size, focus on the compatibility list and the maintenance routine that suits your machine.

Usage tips

Before first use, soak a filter in water for 5–10 minutes to release air bubbles. The recommended replacement interval is every two months or after 80 litres of use, depending on local water quality. This gives you a straightforward reminder for ongoing machine maintenance, the six-filter pack also means replacements are on hand when the next change is due.

Buyer feedback is mixed. Some customers report a good fit and say the filter works well, while others mention water-flow problems or compatibility issues. Comments also refer to the Sage Precision Brewer, which is not among the listed compatible models. Checking the exact machine model against the specified Barista codes helps keep the choice focused on the intended fit. Opinions on value differ as well, so the clearest reasons to choose this pack are its stated compatibility, six-filter quantity and routine replacement guidance.

Everyday use

For someone making coffee at home, the filter is intended to sit within the machine’s regular water-care routine. Reducing minerals and other impurities in tap water can help limit scale deposits in internal pipes and the water-injection system, supporting cleaner machine upkeep over time. The activated-carbon and ion-exchange approach also targets substances that can affect water quality, while retaining essential minerals.

The six-piece format is useful if you prefer to keep replacement filters ready rather than source one each time maintenance is due. Before ordering, identify the machine’s model and compare it with the supported SES codes, compatibility is the practical deciding point, not simply the Sage name. This is a replacement-filter approach for owners who want filtration and scale care built into regular coffee-machine maintenance.

Should you buy it?

Choose GOLDEN ICEPURE if your machine is one of the listed Sage Barista models and you want a six-filter supply for ongoing water care. Its NSF certification, activated-carbon and ion-exchange filtration, and guidance for soaking and replacement make the routine clear. A solid pick if your priority is a compatible filter pack that helps reduce impurities and scale-forming minerals as part of everyday coffee-machine upkeep.
