Creative Tops Topiary Cork-Backed Placemats, Set of 4, Multi-Colour, 40 x 29 cm
Product description
At 40 x 29 cm, these rectangular placemats give each place setting a generous surface for a plate and glass. Their cork backing and illustrated finish make them a more decorative choice than plain protective mats.
The Topiary design features herb illustrations framed with calligraphy-style writing, in natural shades of green and cream. A smooth lacquered surface gives the set a polished look for everyday meals as well as more formal table settings.
The pack contains four placemats. They are stated to resist heat up to 120°C, as well as stains and slipping, care is wipe clean only, so they are not designed for machine washing.

Usage tips
Use them beneath plates and glasses to help protect a dining table during everyday meals or when setting the table for guests. The herb artwork and muted green-and-cream palette work with both traditional and informal table settings, so the design need not be reserved for special occasions. After use, wipe the surface clean rather than soaking or washing it with the rest of the dishes.
Compared with a basic, undecorated mat, this set puts more emphasis on the look of the table while still offering cork backing and a lacquered surface. Buyers’ comments also highlight the appearance and size, with some appreciating how the design looks on a rustic wooden table and finding room for larger plates and a glass. Those are individual impressions rather than a measure of how the mats will suit every table or place setting.
In the box
The set includes four Topiary cork-backed placemats. That gives you a matching group for a small dining table or several places at a meal, the product details do not specify additional accessories in the pack.
Should you buy it?
It’s a good fit if you want a coordinated set of illustrated placemats for regular dining, and the 40 x 29 cm format suits the plates and glasses you typically use. The cork backing, lacquered finish and stated resistance to heat up to 120°C add practical detail to the decorative design. It might not be a great match if you need placemats that can go in a washing machine, as the care instruction is wipe clean only. Choose this set for a dressed table with a botanical look, a simpler, unpatterned mat may suit better if you want the protection without a prominent design.
