ComSaf 2.1 L Glass Storage Jars, 3 Pack with Bamboo Lids

Each 2.1 L jar is designed for storing dry kitchen staples. This ComSaf set includes three clear borosilicate glass containers with bamboo lids and silicone rings. Their tall format suits pasta and other cupboard essentials. The glass body is dishwasher safe, the lids need hand-washing.

Pros

The clear sides make contents and remaining levels easy to see, which is useful when organising a cupboard or keeping frequently used ingredients on the worktop. The tall shape is intended to hold spaghetti without needing to break it, as well as short pasta, rice, grains, biscuits, coffee or muesli. With three matching jars, several staples can be grouped together rather than kept in separate packets.

The silicone ring is designed to give the lid a tight fit and help limit exposure to air and cupboard moisture. That makes the jars more suited to dry foods than to liquids or pickling. Buyers speak positively about the appearance and size, and some like how the squared design fits into cupboards. Feedback on how well the lids seal is mixed, while some buyers also report that the glass can break easily, so careful handling is sensible.

Key points

The set contains three jars, each with a stated capacity of 2.1 L and dimensions of 12 × 8 × 28.6 cm. The listed materials are borosilicate glass, bamboo and silicone. The glass is described as food-grade, BPA-free and suitable for temperatures from -20 to 150°C. It is also listed as freezer-safe and microwave-safe, but that applies to the glass body only: the bamboo lid is not suitable for microwave use.

In everyday use, these are a practical alternative to leaving dry ingredients in their original packaging: the contents stay visible and the matching containers can be lined up together. Compared with a basic set of smaller jars, the 2.1 L capacity is better suited to larger quantities of pasta or grains. The tall format is less tailored to tiny portions or seasonings, where compact containers may be easier to store and reach.

Care & maintenance

The glass body can go in the dishwasher. Hand-wash the bamboo lid and dry it fully before putting it back on, this helps avoid leaving the lid damp in storage. Press the lid down straight after use. The seal is intended for dry food under normal household conditions, and the jars are not specified for storing liquids or pickling. As with other glass storage, take care when handling and cleaning them, particularly around hard surfaces.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if you want a coordinated set for dry staples, value being able to identify contents at a glance, or need tall containers for spaghetti and cupboard storage. The 12 × 8 × 28.6 cm dimensions give you a useful basis for checking shelf space before choosing a place for them. The bamboo lids also provide a different look from all-plastic storage, while the clear glass keeps the contents visible.

Better avoided if you need containers for liquids or pickling, or if you need lids that can go in the microwave. If you prioritise a seal that buyers consistently find airtight, the mixed feedback is worth bearing in mind. These jars make most sense for organised storage of dry foods, with the glass handled carefully and the lids kept dry.
