YHUKB Dog Sofa Cover 70 x 150cm
Product description
Technical details
When a dog tends to claim the same patch of sofa, a washable cover can help keep fur, dirt and everyday mess off the upholstery. This YHUKB dog sofa cover is grey, plush and sized 70 x 150 cm, with silicone particles on the underside intended to help it stay in place.
It’s also described as soft, handmade facecloth fabric, so the appeal is comfort as well as protection. Given its design, it may work well as a defined lounging spot rather than a cover for an entire large sofa.
The product details list machine washing and say the fabric is intended to retain its colour and shape. No washing temperature or other care instructions are provided, so follow any care label supplied with the cover.
Getting the most from it
This is a flexible protector for a sofa seat, windowsill, bedside area or floor. For example, you could lay it over the part of the couch your dog settles on after a walk, creating a washable barrier between paws and upholstery. Its grey colour and soft finish are also intended to blend into a living space rather than look like a purely utilitarian mat.
May interest you if you want a dedicated pet resting area that can be machine washed and moved between surfaces. Compared with a fitted, full-sofa cover, this single 70 x 150 cm piece offers a simpler way to protect one section, it won’t provide full coverage unless its dimensions happen to suit the area you want to protect.
Usage tips
Place the cover flat on the intended surface and check that the silicone-backed side is against the sofa or floor. The grip is intended to reduce shifting, particularly when a pet moves around, but it shouldn’t be treated as a guaranteed fit on every upholstery type or sofa shape. Check its position before your dog settles in, especially if the cover is being used on a smooth surface.
After use, machine washing offers a straightforward way to deal with fur and dirt. Since the listing doesn’t specify a wash cycle or drying method, avoid assuming that any particular temperature or care routine is suitable. The cover is also presented as an all-season item, though no insulation or temperature performance is specified.
Three specific questions
Will it cover an entire sofa? The listed size is 70 x 150 cm. That may protect a chosen seating area, but the available details don’t establish that it will cover a whole sofa or sectional.
Can it be machine washed? Yes. The product description says it is machine washable, but does not give detailed wash or drying instructions.
Can it be used somewhere other than a couch? The listed uses include a windowsill, bedside area and floor, as well as a sofa. The silicone particles are intended to help limit movement on a surface.
Before buying
The key decision is coverage: measure the spot you want to protect and compare it with 70 x 150 cm. This is a practical format for a pet’s usual resting patch, but it may not suit someone looking for a fitted cover or broad protection across a sectional. It won’t suit you if you need confirmed dimensions for a particular sofa shape or detailed care instructions before purchase. If a movable, washable layer for one area is the priority, this cover’s size and stated machine-washable design are the most relevant points to weigh.
