Yahtzee dice game with silicone cup

What to know

When you want a game that fits on a small table or can come along on a trip, this Yahtzee dice game keeps the main activity simple: roll the dice, choose which combinations to chase and aim for the highest score. It is listed for ages 8+, with two or more players and a play time of 30 minutes.

The set includes five dice, 80 score sheets and a collapsible silicone cup. Its portable case also serves as a dice-rolling tray, so the pieces have a defined place during play and storage. The edition is in English and French.

The choices are straightforward, but there is still a bit of push-your-luck strategy: a roll might help complete a straight or full house, or tempt you to go for five of a kind. Keep in mind that the score sheets are consumable, once the included 80 are used, the listing does not say whether replacements are available.

How to use it

Take turns shaking the cup and rolling the dice, then decide which result to record and which combination to pursue. That decision gives the game its small but satisfying tension: taking a safer score can make sense, while another roll might improve your position—or leave you wishing you had stopped earlier.

For a practical example, it suits a family game night where players can take turns around the table without setting up a board. The case’s tray gives the dice a contained place to land, and the cup collapses for packing. It is a more self-contained approach than bringing loose dice and a separate rolling surface, though the game still depends on everyone keeping track of their turns and scores.

Practical tips

Set the case on a flat surface and use the built-in tray to keep rolls together. Before packing up, return the dice and sheets to the case, the collapsible cup is part of the set, so there is less loose equipment to gather. The compact, travel-oriented format is presented for camping, holidays and beach outings, but the product details do not specify weather resistance, so keep the components protected from sand and moisture.

The game’s appeal is partly in the risk decisions, not just rolling. It can work as a quick icebreaker or a familiar option for mixed-age groups, while a group seeking a longer, more involved strategy game may prefer a different format. The listed play time is 30 minutes, which gives a useful sense of the intended session without promising that every game will finish on schedule.

In your case

Puede interesarte si you want a familiar dice game with its rolling tray and storage built into the set, particularly for family play or taking a small game along. The five-dice format is easy to get started with, while the choice between banking a score and risking another roll gives turns a little more thought than a purely random roll-and-score game.

No te encajará si you need a game with a stated replacement supply for score sheets, or if you want a more elaborate strategy experience than combinations and risk decisions. Given its design, this is best considered a portable, uncomplicated option for casual sessions—not a substitute for a larger game night built around a longer ruleset.
