Wildgame Innovations TREEHUGGER WGIFD0032 100 lb Gravity Bag Feeder, TRUBARK HD

For a remote deer feeding spot with limited room, the Wildgame Innovations TREEHUGGER offers a simple tree-mounted setup. Its gravity-fed design replenishes feed as animals consume it, keeping a food source available without a timed dispensing schedule.

The bag holds up to 100 lb and accepts corn, attractants, protein, mineral or a combination. That flexibility makes it useful for setting up a feeding site with the feed mix you prefer.

Integrated straps loop around a tree trunk and fasten with a heavy-duty buckle. The lightweight design and quick setup also make it practical to move while assessing potential locations.

Why it’s worth it

This feeder suits spots where a straightforward gravity system is more useful than a scheduled feeder. As deer consume the feed, more becomes available from the bag, so the setup works without programming a dispensing time. Its 100 lb capacity gives you room to stock a substantial supply for a selected site.

The TREEHUGGER is designed for flexible placement: secure it to a tree, fill it with your chosen feed, and relocate it as needed to test another spot. That can be especially handy in backwoods or swamp locations where space is tight or access is less convenient. Buyers often appreciate its feeding function and capacity, while reports on durability are mixed, some mention straps or buckles breaking. The feedback is a useful reminder to secure the feeder carefully during setup.

Practical tips

Choose a tree trunk that lets you position the feeder where deer can reach the feed, then loop the integrated straps around the trunk and secure the buckle. The maker describes setup as taking under five minutes. Once installed, fill the bag with corn, attractants, protein, mineral or a combination, depending on the feeding plan for the site.

If you are deciding between a gravity feeder and a timed feeder, the TREEHUGGER is the simpler approach for a location where feed can replenish as it is consumed and you want to move the setup while assessing a site. Its lightweight format is suited to places where a compact, tree-mounted feeder is more practical than a larger feeder arrangement.
